This guy was completed a few years ago to enter in Golden Daemon (Back when they actually had a proper event!). I am itching to have a crack at the new Giant model!!!!

This is a really nice miniature released a while back. It was a lot of fun to paint and has become one of my favourites!!!!
I really like Space Marine Chaplains!. I think its the Catholic school education or something or maybe its the fear inspiring armour they wear I just don’t know. They are so cool and so much fun to paint that I quite often by a new one to add to the collection. The first one here won me first place in a painting comp on underthecouch.net last year. The comp always has a theme and this one was ‘Shades of Red’ the idea beinf that red had to be a key feature of the model. I painted the haft of his Crozius in several shades of red and kept the rest of the model fairly plain to draw attention to it.

I actually picked this mini up in a hobby store in Hong Kong back in 2005. He hasn’t been available in GW stores for some time now but I think you can still mail order him. I painted him up in Death Co. colours as I really like the story line behind tycho.
Now Mephiston has to be one of the best characters in the whole 40K universe and thanks to the latest Codex update he is back to the rock hard near unstoppable killing machine that he was always meant to be!
I painted this model quite some time ago. It is from the older stock of GW character figures. GW has not bothered to update character fugures for the Blood Angels for years, thankfully Dantes is still a pretty cool miniature even when compsred to the updated character figures for some of the other Chapters!
Well this is this first post for me for a while. My old site ‘BigD Warhammer 40K’ got very neglected there for a long while, so much so that when I finally got around to posting again I had forgotten my password and change internet/email provider 3 times. Very difficult to recover a password when they send the replacement to an email adress that you have not used for over a year!!
Any way I am now trying to get back into posting (hopefully someone might actually read some of my posts this time!!!). The first few will come through pretty quickly as I have a heap of stuff backed up and wating to go. I would really like to get feed back from anyone who has anything to say.
